1. My elderly mother, who was suffering from terminal cancer, was admitted to a facility, but the nurses, staff, and dietitian were very kind to her, and she was able to walk around the hospital in a wheelchair until two days before she passed away. I was able to help him bathe a few hours ago, and I am very grateful that he was able to live his daily life without severe pain or suffering as he reached his final moments.
I am sure that my mother and I were able to spend a very happy time by being admitted to Kamiyama Fusei Hospital.

2. Kamiyama Fusei Hospital was established in 1889 (Meiji 22) in Kamiyama, Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is also the oldest existing Hansen's disease sanatorium in Japan. The hospital was also founded by Father Testweed of the Foreign Mission Society of Paris.
The word "Resurrection" in Resurrection Hospital comes from the Christian word "resurrection," and I think it's a wonderful name given by Father Testwid, who founded the hospital to help patients who had been abandoned by the world.
This hospital was also the place where the first head nurse, Yae Ibuka, who was famous for her faith and dedication, worked there, so it was a place I wanted to visit.
Unfortunately, the Resurrection Memorial Hall, where various materials are displayed, was temporarily closed due to the coronavirus.
I would like to visit the Resurrection Memorial Hall on another occasion. I was overwhelmed with emotion just by visiting the hospital.
