About Us :

Centro de Medicina Tropical de Rondônia (CEMETRON) is a public reference hospital in Rondônia, Brazil, dedicated for over 30 years to the care, teaching, and research of tropical and infectious diseases. Integrated into the State Health Department (SESAU), CEMETRON provides both outpatient and inpatient services, with a 24-hour emergency system. Its multidisciplinary team delivers specialized support for complex cases, particularly in infectious diseases, leishmaniasis, HIV, Covid-19, and accidents involving venomous animals. The hospital is also a hub for medical training and research, collaborating with national and international institutions.

CEMETRON is recognized for its modern infrastructure, highly qualified professionals, and commitment to continuous improvement. The hospital is undergoing the largest renovation in its history, expanding critical areas like the ICU, wards, pharmacy, and administrative spaces, which will further enhance service quality and patient care. The reforms also include upgraded equipment maintenance facilities, a new sterilization center, and improved energy and gas systems.
