The Lafayette Behavioral Health Unit was established through a partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and Lafayette General Medical Center. This partnership secures quality care and access to services for uninsured individuals in need of psychiatric care. Our skilled psychiatric and mental health professionals are trained and committed to assist patients in their self-discovery, learning and recovery process.

Literally everyone is so sweet !And they feed you very good like you can't even finish your food good the food is Delish! The psychiatrist,Nurses,Social workers and doctors listen to you and help you any way they can! I've been here for suicidal thoughts and depression which I've been dealing with for 6 years and I feel healed like I can literally began to move on on from my past trauma,hurt and abuse Being here and doing the recreational therapy (Coloring,Dancing, Drawing,and games have poured happiness into my heart couldn't think everyone in this place enough!
