Established on October 1, 2021, Lakhimpur Medical College and Hospital (LMCH) is the 8th medical college in Assam. It was developed under the Central Sector Scheme “Establishment of New Medical College attached with existing District/Referral Hospital” and operates under the State Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Assam.
