About Us
The Ystad Hospital is an emergency hospital with 24-hour operations. This is where you come if you need specialized emergency medical care, maternity care and planned surgeries.

The hospital has an emergency department as well as clinics and wards in many different specialties. There is a maternity ward and a maternity hospital. After complicated births, mothers and babies can be offered lighter neonatal care.

Patients from large parts of Skåne come to Ystad for, among other things, intestinal operations, so-called colon surgery, and for male sterilization.

In total, around 1,000 people work here.

At the hospital, we conduct active environmental work to promote sustainability and reduce our climate impact.
