My mom was visiting from out of state and fell. We had to call 911 and she was taken to LCH around 11pm. The staff that cared for her were fantastic. We recently moved to the area from a larger city with many options for medical care so we weren’t sure what to expect from a smaller facility. We were not disappointed in the care she received. They did a great job.

I had a great experience in the emergency room. While cleaning a deer the gut hook knife I was using slipped and cut into my hand requiring stitches. From the receptionist, administrator, nursing staff and nurse practitioner that stitched it back up was kind, professional and had a smile on their face. I am a 33 year retired Army veteran that has multiple tours and received my share of injuries and stitches. The Nurse Practitioner (Rhonda?) had to be the best that I have had to deal with. She was quick, precise and “gentle”!!! A first for me! I am used to being man handled and the local pain shots very painful. The staff was incredible and we had a great conversation during the whole procedure. I owe a big thank you. My cut took 5 stitches and today is day 11. Stitches will come out today. It healed perfect. Thank you to the staff of this wonderful little hospital and I will see y’all next deer season! Rich
