Laxmi Eye Centre was established in 1995 in Kullu with the aim of providing modern eye care to the residents of the valley. It was the first centre in the region to introduce computerized eye check-ups and microsurgical facilities. Over the years, it has grown into a niche setup offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical services, from routine eye exams to complex procedures. The centre is led by Dr. Ravi Matani, a gold medalist with over three decades of experience in ophthalmology, who trained at Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, and Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. The hospital is known for its compassionate care, modern technology, and highly skilled team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff.
