Wonderful ICU staff. My mom really appreciated that the nurses were quiet when they came in, especially at night. It is fine to be upbeat, but she doesn't want a nurse barging in at 4am with so much energy. She mentioned that one nurse would even come in with a flashlight instead of turning on her lights. It was nice that they considered how she might be feeling and even stepped up their game with the flashlight when she mentioned she appreciated not being disturbed at night so much here. Of course the food is terrible, but that is to be expected at a hospital now. The food at the cafe is much better so if you are here as a patient ask your guests to buy you food from the cafe before they come up. My mom loved it when I brought her soft serve from the cafe while visiting.

My personal experience in late February 2025 was exemplary. Incredible doctors and nurses, including but not limited to Dr. Ho, Dr. Black, Dr. Young nurse Melyssa in the ICU. On the fourth floor nurses ColeTran, nurse Amy, nurse Nguyen, nurse Lisa and several others. All were attentive, caring, and professional. Very high-quality people all the way around. The administration is doing a fantastic job hiring and keeping people of this caliber.
