Unlike Mount Hood, I was treated with compassion and kindness. Because I had a high fever, I was taken to a room immediately. I was given fluids and pain meds. They had to board me in the ER because there were no beds available upstairs. But eventually, I was taken to an upstairs room. I want to nominate all the nurses in the ER for the Daisy Award. They never get the recognition they deserve. This ER, I think, is by far the best one in Portland.

Recently, I needed to visit a business on NW 23rd Ave and the best place for me to park was on 22nd Ave. I found this path that is on the north side of the hospital that is a nice garden courtyard. It would be a quiet place to visit if you do have to spend time there.
