Lin Shin Hospital is a 700 bed metropolitan teaching hospital located in Nantun District, Taichung City's business district. We provide the most comprehensive range of health services through our two hospitals. This includes trauma, neurosurgical, cardiovascular, cancer, rehabilitation, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology. Our 24-hour Emergency and Trauma Center sees more than 42,000 patients per year.

Lin Shin Hospital was famous for their OB/GYN and was recommended by our friends who are parents of 2 kids with great experiences here. The decor was outmoded but still clean with good maintenance. Our OB/GYN doctor is Dr. 林宗毅 and we appreciate his help so much since I was in my 38th week of pregnancy when we first met. I heard some doctors would reject the appointment from women who are in the 3rd trimester due to high risk. After our baby girl was born, we stayed in the hospital to recover for 3 days. The entire team, especially the staff from infant room 嬰兒室 on 5F was professional and patient to take care of me and the baby. (Special thanks to 黃韻蓉, who taught us how to breast feed with a lot of patience.) We learned a lot from them and felt more confident to move forward. A newborn is one of the most important & life-changing events for a family and everything would be much smoother if parents choose the right hospital & doctor.
