1. I’ve been a patient at both private and public hospitals. This is easily the best hospital I’ve been treated at. All staff were amazing: admin, warden, nurse, doctor, surgeon. (Sorry if I’ve missed some staff but they were ALL incredible) Absolutely everyone was helpful and kind and so willing to help and kept me informed every step of the way. My partner even mentioned that after my operation when the surgeon called, the surgeon was very informative and seemed that he had all the time to answer any questions my partner had (even though we know he would be a very busy man, he didn’t rush my partner and my partner felt very at ease). No one enjoys hospital but all of staff made it so accommodating and pleasant. I really can’t thank everyone who looked after me enough. If there were any issues in the future, Lismore base would be my first option as I’ve never experienced such high level of care and would trust them with my life.

2. I had an incredible experience birthing my baby, with Lismore base hospital. As a first time mum and having had little experience with hospitals. I was nervous that my needs would be disregarded.
I was fortunate to be accepted into the Midwifery group practice. And the level of support, knowledge and understanding that I received I could not fault.
From the moment we arrived in labour, all staff were helpful and considerate towards helping me to the birthing suite.
The birthing suite amenities were excellent and I did not feel rushed throughout the process.
I am so thankful to the staff at Lismore base for such an exceptional experience.
