Loghman Hakim Hospital, established in 1931, is one of the oldest and most advanced medical centers in Iran. Originally founded for infectious diseases, it has evolved into a super-specialized hospital with a strong focus on toxicology, emergency medicine, and research. The hospital is a major referral center for poisoning cases, with the busiest poison control center in the country. It also serves as a teaching hospital for medical students and residents.
