Maharaja Agrasen Hospital was established on 15th August 1991 under the auspices of the Maharaja Agrasen Hospital Charitable Trust, founded in 1980. The hospital was inaugurated by Shri Shyam Saran Negi, the first voter of independent India, and was built from the proceeds of property donated by Mr. Raghubir Saran and Mr. Raghunandan Saran of New Delhi. It is named after the wife of the late Mr. Raghubir Saran. MAH is the oldest hospital in West Delhi run by a charitable trust, dedicated to providing quality healthcare services to all, irrespective of caste, creed, or religion.
