The hospital has a legacy of serving the community for over six decades, providing affordable care and medical education. However, the old Sakchi building has suffered from severe structural deterioration, including a recent collapse that resulted in casualties, leading to its closure and transition to a new campus. Despite these challenges, the hospital remains committed to public health and medical training.
