Beginning with just 7 beds in a traditional wooden structure, it has grown to a capacity of 50 beds and now offers comprehensive healthcare facilities including fully equipped operation theatres, general and special wards, isolation and burns wards, and an ICU. The founder, Dr. S.M. Jaffer Maricar, started this initiative after serving as a medical officer in Nancowry Islands and Little Andaman, earning a reputation for exceptional dedication to patient care.
