My dad had a medical emergency while staying on Maui for the winter. Everyone from the ambulance personnel, to the ER to the ward he was on was extraordinary. So kind & compassionate. They put up with my multiple phone calls & incessant questions every day for updates until we could get there from the mainland. I arrived in Maui for Thanksgiving vacation from the mainland. Had to go to the emergency room that same night. Received the best care from the staff from the moment I walked in. Everyone was friendly. The intake staff, my RN Matt, the transporter, the CT tech and my MD all made me feel cared for. The ED was the last place I wanted to be while on vacation but it was more than tolerable with the wonderful staff you have. I’ll be honest…facility wise it’s not the newest. But for me, the most important thing is the care I receive…5/5 all the way!
