My sweet dad has been at McGuffey for several months. I've dealt with numerous rehab facilities and nursing homes over the years with both of my parents. This one has cared for my dad while I can't. He needs 24/7 care, and I think McGuffey and staff are amazing. !They are caring, it's clean, and they put up with crazy family members like me. I want to specifically mention Mackenzie, the admission coordinator, who is not only extraordinary but also clearly cares about the residents. I feel very comfortable knowing my dad is safe. I don’t understand the negative reviews here. EVERYONE, from the business office, front desk, kitchen, social worker, nurses, CNA’s, doctors, physical therapists, to housekeeping staff treated us all with compassion and had an such positive demeanors. Daily we were greeted with smiles and everyone bent over backwards to make my Dads 2 month experience in Rehab here truly healing. (He was T-boned by an 18-wheeler). Me and my Mom came every single day. I’ve dealt with other rehabs in the area (Northside, Jacksonville) in the past with another family member and McGuffeys is hands down #1!!! Me and my family are forever grateful!
