About Us :

Late Baliram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College Hospital, established in 2006, is a premier government medical institution in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. The hospital is associated with the medical college and serves as a crucial healthcare hub for the Bastar region, providing both basic and advanced medical care. It is a 500-bedded hospital located within the college campus and acts as the only terminal health care center within a 300 km radius, catering especially to the tribal population. The hospital is committed to excellence in patient care, medical education, and research, and is supported by significant contributions from the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) .

At present its the only hospital along with Maharani Hospital to provide quality treatment facilities at very reasonable costs for the people of Southern Bastar. There may be a hesitation for the rich to take treatment here bcoz of very low staff but along with Maharani, it remains the only option for the poor tribal villagers. Treatment is cheap and mostly funded by Government of Chhattisgarh -Prashant Annepu
