Quality
In Croatia, medical-biochemical laboratories are regulated by the Croatian Society of Medical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (CSMBLM). The laboratories are required to adhere to quality standards, including HRN EN ISO 15189, to ensure the reliability and accuracy of test results. CSMBLM conducts external assessments of laboratory performance and collaborates with the Croatian Accreditation Agency to accredit laboratories based on international standards. Accreditation is voluntary but signifies a commitment to maintaining high-quality laboratory practices.
