1. I was transferred from a different hospital on Sunday approximately 02:30 am. The hospital was neat and tidy and I was attended to subsequently. The only negative issue (hence the 4 stars) that I faced was on the day of being discharged. Even though my order was given the day prior, at around 08:30 am I was told that I was not permitted to eat. How, when I ate after my surgery yesterday and my surgery was Gynaelogical not abdominal or throat related? The amazing Mrs D Basson stepped in and eventually I got to eat. It’s not my first time at a private hospital and I know how Nil per oral/ nil per mouth works, I don’t see how it applies to my situation but alas…
2. A very pleasant experience. The staff was amazing, always ready to be of service. Management was quick to help with any queries that we had and willing to work with our insurance company to get everything sorted.
