Read real patient testimonials of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and discover inspiring stories of healing, compassionate care, and life-changing experiences at our hospital.

The staff was kind and made me feel comfortable! This was my first MRI and I was very nervous, they calmed me down and checked in on me to make sure I was doing alright. From putting the IV in my area to helping me up once the MRi was finished they were gentle and kind. Wait time was short and it was a long process but they made me comfortable.

I am truly blessed and grateful for the care and services that were provided to me. From the admitting to the hospital to the discharge. I was always treated with care and understanding. Very professional, everything was explained in a manner that was understandable. The staff, administration, nurses, doctors, aides, security, parking lot guards. ER, transporters , front desk, receptionist. Also the trainees. I hope I haven't missed anyone. Great place to go.I highly recommend for a speedy recovery.

I recently had a procedure done at Georgetown University Hospital-Gastroenterology, EUS division and the service I received was exceptional. There was a short delay with slow iPads used for checking in. Seemed like poor internet connectivity. The admissions staff was professional and the physician with accompanying team was extremely pleasant. I waited about 20-25 minutes before I was called back to begin preparing for my procedure. The RN’s that prepped me were very efficient. I felt very confident in everyone’s abilities and appreciated their patience while I asked questions before my procedure. Everyone in the procedure room explained their role and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend the hospital/Gastroenterology division. Dr. Challoub and his team were great.
