Great experience with the initial assessment, seen by Dr. Khalil and team. Previously, my grandfather had difficulty juggling different providers, so loved that he was able to talk to pharmacy, physical therapy, and social work as well as the physician. All our questions were answered thoroughly. They were able to help us understand my grandfather’s current health issues at his age and gave us a great plan on next steps. The team really showed us that they were interested in helping my grandfather continue to remain active and on top of his health. I do wish we (grandfather and family) had known to come with his actual records from other providers because the information needed was more detailed than expected, but everyone was very patient while we pulled it up electronically. Hopefully, my grandfather’s care can be more centralized here. I think this will make it is easier for him to understand his care and adopt their recommendations.

I just feel comfortable here. I've had to deal with many facilities in the area, and when I ended up here many years ago in an emergency situation that led me to spending several days in the ICU and regular wings, I knew that this was the place where I felt best taken care of. The staff is warm, and I truly felt like my health was the most important thing. They didn't even send someone to ask me if I had insurance until after I completely stable and well on the road to recovery. It's a community hospital that really made me feel like I was a part of the community and cared for as a member of their community.
