Mehr Hospital opened in 1946, making it Iran’s first private hospital. It operates from a central Tehran location on Zartosht West Street. Today’s hospital includes approximately 300 in-patient beds, multiple ICUs (including NICU and CCU), emergency, dialysis, operating, and imaging suites. The hospital serves both Iranian and foreign patients, treats over 2,000 monthly, and hosts university-level doctors and researchers.
