Established on August 15, 2006, the Gori Military Hospital, officially known as the Giorgi Abramishvili Military Hospital, is operated by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. It succeeded the Soviet-era military hospital based in Tbilisi and is located in the city of Gori. The hospital is a 176-bed facility providing general medical and surgical care, as well as a 24-hour emergency service for military personnel and civilians. Approximately 25% of the patients treated at the hospital are civilians. Additionally, it functions as a teaching hospital for Tbilisi State Medical University.
