About Us :

Military Hospital Sliven is a regional branch of Bulgaria’s Military Medical Academy (MMA), which dates its origins to 1891 as a garrison hospital. The MMA has grown into a leading diagnostic, treatment, educational, and scientific complex, with its main center in Sofia and regional branches in Plovdiv, Varna, Pleven, and Sliven. The Sliven branch continues the tradition of excellence in military and civilian healthcare, providing access to a wide range of hospital and specialized outpatient services for health-insured citizens under the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), except for obstetrics, pediatrics, and radiotherapy for malignant diseases.
