On Saturday January 16, 2021 I had surgery here. My procedure was ACDF (Cervical area from c4 through c7) 8 screws and 3 metal plates along with a cage. I'm American but reside in Cairo & Covid 19 back in USA where my family lives shut down non emergency surgeries. So I had to do surgery here. From when I walked in and registered, escorted to my room to wait, escorted to the surgery room, everyone who I came into contact with were amazing. Janitors, nurses, the serves who delivered food and the nurses & doctors in the surgery room. I stayed 1 night and was discharged the following day. BTW, my surgeon was great. The room I stayed in was clean. The bed was more comfy than the beds back in the USA. The bathroom was big and the TV had over 500 channels. I was able to watch my American basketball on my cellphone so I had no issues with internet. Thank you to everyone who helped me and my Egyptian wife & her family. Alhamdulillah for everything.
