Mizoram State Cancer Institute (MSCI) is a government-run, tertiary cancer care center located at Zemabawk, Aizawl, Mizoram. Recognized as one of India's leading cancer institutes, MSCI is dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer diagnosis, treatment, and research. With a mandate to serve the people of Mizoram and the Northeast region, MSCI addresses the state's high cancer burden through cutting-edge technology, multidisciplinary teams, and community-focused awareness and prevention programs. As of 2024, MSCI operates with a 60-bed capacity and is undergoing a major expansion project to upgrade its facilities and increase its bed strength to 200 by 2028.
