This hospital was founded in 1941 under the name of Mitsaghieh. After the Islamic Revolution, this center was handed over to the Martyr and Veterans Affairs Foundation. During the years of the Iraq-Iran war, it was one of the most important centers for treating and caring for the wounded, dear veterans, and the honorable families of martyrs. In 1994, it was handed over to Shahid University. Martyr Mustafa Khomeini Hospital is one of the private hospitals in the country. Currently, this hospital has 200 beds, 45 of which are special beds, and is busy serving its esteemed clients. This center, in addition to serving the general clientele, has provided excellent medical services to the dear veterans and the honorable families of martyrs and veterans.

This center has been awarded the Grade 1 accreditation from the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, and also provides medical and health services to foreign patients by having an IPD certificate (International Patient Admission Certificate).
