The MultiCare Covington campus first opened in 1993 as the Covington Clinic. One of the first medical clinics in Covington, we have grown in size and expanded services to meet the changing needs of this fast-growing community. In 2012, we brought emergency services to the community for the first time when we added an emergency department to the campus, located adjacent to our original clinic building. In 2018 the campus grew again when we opened a new, four-story hospital building. MultiCare Covington Medical Center was dubbed the Cecchettini Pavilion, in honor of MultiCare’s former president and CEO, Diane Cecchettini, RN. The hospital brings much needed patient care services to Covington, including hospital rooms especially equipped to treat pediatric patients and other amenities. Today, the MultiCare Covington campus is a multi-function, neighborhood health care hub providing hospital/inpatient care as well as outpatient surgical services, primary care, specialty care, urgent care and emergency services, and other supportive services such as pharmacy, lab and imaging all in one convenient location.
