Established in 1980 and officially opened to the public on June 12, 1988, NCKUH is affiliated with National Cheng Kung University and serves as a leading medical center in southern Taiwan. The hospital is a 14-story building (12 floors above ground, 2 underground) with a total area of 112,860 square meters.
