The National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery is the largest burn and plastic surgical care center in the world, dedicated to the treatment, research, and rehabilitation of burn and plastic surgery patients. The institute was inaugurated in 2018 and formally started operations in July 2019. It was established to address the growing need for specialized care in burn injuries and plastic surgery in Bangladesh and the region. The hospital features three main blocks: the Burn Unit, Plastic Surgery Unit, and an Academic Wing, and is equipped to provide comprehensive care, training, and research in the field
