The NERIST Health Unit (NHU) is dedicated to providing healthcare services to the students and staff of the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. Initially established as a dispensary, it has evolved into a six-bed hospital equipped with a 24-hour emergency ward, laboratory facilities, and a medical store. The unit offers free medical consultancy, routine check-ups, and emergency care, ensuring the well-being of the campus community.
