1. The icu department is very good. I found that the ward staff is not friendly. I have been at the hospital since 10 am this morning in casualty, it is now 4.30 pm. I need to be transferred to the new alberton hospital and still waiting. God help us all with the new health system that they want to introduce. Private health care in south Africa is shocking why are we paying for medical aid.
2. General a good experience Everytime I had to visit or was admitted myself. Found that lately staff and nurses are so casual and patient with emergencies on two occasions with my family. Although it's a very neat and well kept hospital staff should actually act like they care? Visiting the pharmacy is a breeze as always but prices are relatively high compared to other pharmacies and food in the hospital.
