"Nork-Marash" Medical Center was founded in 1993 thanks to the joint efforts of Armenian and American doctors, led by Hagop (Hrayr) Hovagimian, a leading cardiac surgeon at the Albert Starr Academic Center (Portland, USA). The establishment of the Center was supported by various public organizations and individuals from the USA, France and Great Britain.

The director of the center is Mikael Yurii Adamyan.

The "Nork-Marash" medical center provides emergency, outpatient, inpatient and dispensary medical care to children and adults with heart pathologies. Surgeries of varying degrees of complexity are performed here (except for heart transplantation).
The center has an international programs department that serves patients arriving from abroad.

"Nork-Marash" Medical Center is the foundation of the cardiology and cardiac surgery specialties of the National Institute of Health and Yerevan Medical University.

From the very first day of the center's establishment, the main principle of the staff's work has been a team approach.
