About Us :

NU Healthcare is an administration in the Västra Götaland region. Our hospitals are Norra Älvsborgs Länssjukhus (NÄL) in Trollhättan and Uddevalla Hospital. We are also located at Brinkåsen's adult psychiatric facility in Vänersborg and have around 20 clinics in the surrounding area.

Our approximately 5,000 employees offer specialized care in many areas to residents throughout the Västra Götaland region. Our patients mainly come from Fyrbodal's fourteen municipalities and Lilla Edet.

NÄL is mainly focused on emergency care and Uddevalla Hospital on planned care.

Great professional service, sometimes long waiting times but that's how it is in Sweden nowadays. We've had a 15-20% increase in our population in some 10 years, and instead of more nurses and doctors it's been some cuts. The curse of political Correctness and open border policy's. So with that in mind, with overcrowded hospitals, the staff still giving more then I personally would ask for.
