I went to the emergency room on a Saturday night about midnight. I did not feel right. Could not tell you what it was, but I knew something was not quite right with me. I was taken in immediately. Everyone was very nice and caring. The doctor that night was very knowledgeable. They drew blood for test. As it turned out, I was dehydrated. An IV was used to give me liquid and I was sent home. I was very impressed with the staff and the care given. Thank you staff of Northern Light, Ellsworth, Maine! Randy

Incredibly friendly care here and they did wonderful work. I did not have to wait in the ER for hours when I showed up for a kidney stone and I was seen right away. Ignore the negative reviews of this hospital... people tend to only post a review when they had a bad experience.
