Norton Brownsboro Hospital is a full-service, 197-bed community hospital serving patients from northeastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, and surrounding counties, including Carroll, Henry, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble, as well as Southern Indiana. Using a patient- and family-centered model of care, Norton Brownsboro offers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic and neurosurgical care, cancer care and intensive care services. The hospital offers Exablate focused ultrasound to treat patients with tremors, as well as the TenJet System device for noninvasive treatment of patients with joint pain. Norton Brownsboro Hospital’s 24/7 emergency department has 39 private treatment rooms and a heliport for critical care transport, and it is a regional referral center for advanced neurosurgical conditions, specifically stroke care. DNV has certified Norton Brownsboro Hospital as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing the highest-level treatment for serious stroke events, and as an Advanced Orthopedic & Spine Center of Excellence for knee and hip replacement, and shoulder and spine surgery.

I went to the ER a couple of days ago. I just want to personally thank Marina, and Kelly for being so kind to me. They went above, and beyond for me. I wish there were ladies like them in every hospital. I won’t ever forget you. God bless you, and keep you safe all the days of your lives❣️

I had surgery on Friday at Norton Brownsboro with Dr. Samuel Carter. I am an OR nurse at another hospital so it is not an easy task to impress or please me. But I have nothing but good to say about my experience. From the moment we walked in Mary, the patient liason, was so friendly and helpful. My nurses Tobey, Tawney, and the patient care tech were also so kind, thorough and answered all our questions. My OR nurse Karen and nurse anesthetist were also fantastic in making me feel comfortable and at ease. The hospital itself was clean and I wouldn't hesitate to return here myself or recommend it to anyone needing surgery.
