Went in to the new Ochsner Primary Care and Wellness building across the street from the main campus of the big Ochsner. It’s a cute mini version of a small clinic. Nice and clean. Covid protocols are being followed. Everyone very friendly and professional. I went in for my yearly eye exam to see Dr. McGee. I first saw her assistant Brandy who was very sweet and performed a series of test to check my vision. Then my visit was followed my Dr. McGee who was very attentive and thoroughly addressed my issues and concerns about Diabetic Retinopathy, and other diabetic related health concerns since it runs in my family. She was extremely knowledgeable. Did not make me feel rushed at all, answered all of my questions, and made me feel at ease. I left my appointment feeling so much better, and equipped with new knowledge. . She was a breath of fresh air. How I wish more doctors were like her. I was truly impressed by her professionalism, her care towards me as her patient and overall concerns for my well-being as a whole individual. I completely do advice every one to go see her for your specialize eye needs and/or yearly eye exams!
