About Us :

Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center (OLGMC) is the largest full-service, acute-care medical center in Acadiana, Louisiana. With 477 beds across its main, southwest, and behavioral health campuses, OLGMC provides comprehensive medical services at every level, from trauma and critical care to routine outpatient services. It is the region’s busiest emergency department and the only Level II Trauma Center in Southwest Louisiana. OLGMC is a not-for-profit, community-owned hospital, recognized for its leadership in technology, teaching, and patient care.
