I was visiting Portland with my elderly father; he had a medical emergency and we had to skip the return flight and visit the ER instead. The department got him checked in and speaking with a triage nurse within minutes, and then immediately back to get his vitals and history before being taken to a private room. Nurses and doctors were patient in explaining to him what they were doing, attentive, and precise and effective communicators. They were quick to understand his situation and complex medical history, and balance his immediate needs with the need to return home for further care. Highly recommend heading here in the unfortunate event of a medical emergency.

Best hospital experience in the pediatric ward ever! At 19 they still treated me like a kid and made me feel taken care of which was actually so comforting, they were so nice here and made me feel so comfortable, brought me snacks and food, warm blankets, were incredible when placing iv and drawing blood, etc. thank you to the nurses and doctors here, you guys are genuinely the best ive ever been to in my entire life. ive had a lot of negative hospital experiences but here, I never even one time wanted to leave I love you guys
