Established in 1997 as PNG Diagnostic Centre, Pacific International Hospital (PIH) is the first medical enterprise to introduce CT-Scan diagnostic facilities to Papua New Guinea. In 2001, PIH became the country's first fully licensed private hospital, offering 24/7 emergency and hospital services. By 2005, it evolved into a semi-tertiary multi-specialty critical care facility, introducing services like the Intensive Care Unit, Hemodialysis, and Mammography.
