About Us :

PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center, located in Ketchikan, Alaska, has been serving the community for over a century. Founded in 1923 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace as the Little Flower Hospital, it has grown into a critical access hospital offering comprehensive healthcare services.

The medical center provides 24/7 emergency care, general and orthopedic surgery, advanced diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services. It also features a Behavioral Health Clinic, a New Beginnings Birthing Center, and the New Horizons Long-Term Care Unit. Rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, support patient recovery.

PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center is actively engaged with the local community, collaborating on initiatives for food security, housing, and behavioral health. In fiscal year 2024, it invested $191,000 in support of Ketchikan Gateway Borough organizations.
