Established in 1971, Tondo Medical Center (TondoMed) is a 300-bed capacity tertiary public medical center under the supervision of the Department of Health (DOH). Located in Balut, Tondo, Manila, it was initially the Tondo Annex of the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Hospital before becoming an independent institution through Republic Act 6375. TondoMed provides free in-patient and out-patient medical care, primarily serving residents of Tondo and neighboring areas such as Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela (CAMANAVA), and parts of Bulacan. The hospital is committed to delivering comprehensive healthcare services and continues to expand its infrastructure and capabilities to meet the growing needs of the community.
