1. Thank you for an efficient and helpful experience! At 2:30 in the afternoon on April 7, 2024, the 16 foot ladder I was on gave way sending me to the ground. My wife was able to drive me to the Portage Hospital Emergency Room for treatment. With only one other person in the waiting room, I was in triage within 15 minutes of arrival after reception. Triage was about 5 minutes and I went straight into a treatment room. Within 10 minutes of that, I was seen by a nurse and doctor, both of whom were curtious and efficient. I was administered a pain killer, sent for x-rays, diagnosed, and released within 2 1/2 hours of arrival.
The staff were efficient and courteous ensuring that I had what I needed. I was also courteous and informative to help them with their work.
My family and I are fortunate that we rarely need to visit the hospital, but every time we have had the need, the Portage Hospital has delivered excellent and efficent service.
