The Pronto Atendimento de Sooretama (Sooretama Emergency Care Unit) is a public health facility designed to provide 24-hour urgent and emergency care to the population of Sooretama and surrounding areas. The new UPA (Unidade de Pronto Atendimento) is being constructed in the city center, with a planned area of 1,598.81 m² and capacity to serve up to 300 patients per day. The unit is a key part of the local health network, aiming to reduce pressure on regional hospitals and offer dignified, immediate care for a range of medical needs.

The unit will feature a risk classification system to prioritize care by severity, ensuring rapid and safe service.
