Yesterday, I went in for my first colonoscopy. I was a little nervous, b/c of past medical trauma. Once checked in, a desk clerk volunteered to escort me to the correct waiting room. She was very nice and kind, made me feel at ease. I was happily greeted by all the nurses and tech. I had the best care team. The nurses and I chatted and shared laughter from start to finish. It brings tears to my eyes as I typed this. As a traumatized black man, they all made me feel seen, safe, and cared for. Thank you all for all for a great experience and excellent care!

I have been to emergency 4 x’s this month with my parents and the staff at Providence Milwaukie have been quick to help us, kind, caring and accommodating. Today they brought in a recliner for me without me asking when I said my back is hurting. I appreciate the skilled workers at this Hospital.
