1. Came here for mental health reasons and they were quick to get me in, the psych ward I stayed for about 3 to 4 weeks until I was able to get into a next treatment facility. Staff we're good, they had hospital menus for food so everyday you were able to fill out exactly what you would like for breakfast lunch and dinner without problems there was arts and crafts with other small lectures of people from the community and within the hospital that could help you on your way out of the program. Also they provided transportation to the next treatment facility if one requires it at no charge via ambulance (at least by my experience).
2. Red Deer Regional Hospital is one of the greatest hospital in Alberta. They have amazing, hard working nurses and staff that you feel taken care of and looked after. Most of the doctors actually listen to you and your experience or your health concerns. They don’t just say something to get you to shut up and leave so they go on to the next patient, they take their time and don’t rush. I have had both my babies at this hospital by myself and they always always make sure I didn’t feel alone, very caring nurses and doctors. Both my babies also had RSV when they were 2 months old and 1 year old and I cannot express how grateful I am to have taken them to that hospital. My babies couldn’t have been in better hands.
