1. I can’t complain about the staff and the level of care my mum was accorded during her stay there. However knowing how climate change is affecting temperatures, even the high powered ceiling runs swirling at top speed can’t keep the heat at bay. The patients who were all seniors in the ward had no choice but to groan in the hot and humid environment in their recuperation. Perhaps the authorities have to take a fresh look at how to make the hospital stay not just minimally tolerable but a comfortable pleasant experience for this vulnerable section of our treasured community.
