Republic Hospital, officially known as the Republican Hospital named after Arif Heydarov of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was established on December 1, 1964. Located in Baku, it serves both employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the general public. The hospital has played a significant role during critical periods in Azerbaijan’s history, notably providing care for wounded civilians and military personnel during the Karabakh conflict. Over the years, the hospital has expanded from 100 beds and 3 departments to 260 beds and 9 departments, with a staff of about 270 medical professionals. The hospital is recognized for its experienced staff and its contributions to national healthcare, including facilitating treatment abroad for severely wounded patients
