The main organizational, methodological and medical-consultative center for providing endocrinological care to the population of the Chechen Republic is the State Budgetary Institution "Republican Endocrinology Dispensary". The chief physician of the State Budgetary Institution "RED" is also the chief endocrinologist of the Ministry of Health of the Chechen Republic.

The work of the endocrinology dispensary is organized on the basis of the Charter.

The main tasks of the State Budgetary Institution "RED" are:

provision of specialized medical care to patients with endocrine diseases;
development and implementation of measures to prevent endocrine diseases, identify patients and improve the quality of medical care provided to them; provision of organizational and methodological assistance to doctors of other specialties of medical and preventive institutions in their work on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of endocrine diseases;
ensuring the organization and implementation of dispensary observation of patients with endocrine diseases;
development of scientifically based forecasts of the occurrence and spread of endocrine diseases in the region.
